Since 2014 Shredability has been a market leader in promoting positive skatepark culture!

Providing skatepark event and coaching experiences that connect with people through good times, Shredability prides itself on professionally ran events, and coaching facilitated by role models.

Working with individuals, groups, brands and local government, Shredability brings people together, gives them a platform, and passes on skills and knowledge.

Shredability was founded by former World Cup Vert Champion, Renton Millar.

 

Renton Millar

Renton Millar is a former World Cup Vert Champion, and four time Australian bowl and Vert Champ that has a passion for teaching skateboarding, and running competitions.

Renton has been skateboarding for 34 years, and is currently a senior World Skate Judge working on Olympic qualifying events around the World. 

Between 1998 and 2013 Renton travelled the world as a pro filming video parts, demonstrating and competing. A progressive technical skater, Renton innovated no handed flip tricks on vert ramps such as 360 flip 5-0s, Kickflip nose grind shove its, and was known for his big Ollies and smooth style.

In 2014 after a pro career spanning from 1998 to 2013 Renton founded Shredability, and organisation that continued his passion for teaching and coaching skateboarding and running skatepark events. 

A year later Renton founded King Of Concrete, Australia’s premier National level series of bowl, park, vert and street competitions, sanctioned by the Australian Skateboarding Federation. 

Renton is also a long time skate coach, beginning at Woodward Skatecamp in Pennsylvania in 1998. Since then Renton has coached regularly in China, USA, Europe and Australia, and has attended an Olympic Coaching course in Istanbul, as well as judging seminars in Brazil, Australia, and Turkey.

Renton has judged 5 World Championships of Park, and Vert. As well as the Vans Park Series, and X Games. Renton was the head judge at all often Australian Olympic qualifying events in 2020 in the disciplines of Street and Park.

Renton was also the regular announcer at Bondi Bowlarama, and has been the hosts at world class events such as XGames and events in China, The Middle East and Australia as well as having helped designed iconic skateparks for Convic skateparks in StKilda, Dubai, Shanghai, and all over Australia.

Renton still has a focus on skateboarding at a high level, and favourite places to skate are Prahran, StKilda, Noble Park and The Shed. Renton has helped designed some of the most prominent skateparks in Australia.  

Still skateboarding most days, Renton skateboarding focus has been on Vert, Bowl, Park, Megaramp as well as very much enjoying street skating. In 2020 Renton released a video part of 45 tricks filmed to celebrate his 45th birthday. 

 Renton is also Chairman of the Australian Skateboarding Federation.
