TESTIMONIALS

Jono Schwan (USA)
“Renton Millar is a great skateboard mentor and one of the reasons I am a pro skater today! When I first started skating in Australia Renton took me under his wing and helped me avoid all the rookie mistakes and guided me to a more professional style of skating. And over the years what I have grown to appreciate was that Renton made sure I got the basics right so I could build my own program and style. It was never about getting the impossible trick done, it was more about getting the progression of tricks learned to land the impossible trick. That approach to teaching is what I think makes Renton a great mentor”.

Chris Palmer
“Renton Millar has been an integral part to Keegan’s development as am amateur skateboarder. Off the skateboard Renton has been an immense help to my self as a parent who has a son aspiring professional skateboarder.” Chris Palmer, Father of Keegan.

CAT WILSON
Our 12 year old daughter Hayley has been skateboarding since she was five years old and over the past few years she has attended day and residential workshops where Renton has been coaching and mentoring the children. Renton is an excellent role model for children and adults alike. He demonstrates that if you have a passion and a dream you can achieve amazing results. He is an inspiration to the next generation of skateboarders who look up to him for guidance and support and to learn. Renton works at ease with the youth and is always willing to assist regardless of age or ability. On numerous occasions Renton has taken hours out of his day to work on specific tricks with Hayley and she has improved immensely since having training sessions with him. Renton for inspiring people all around the globe.” Catriona Wilson, mother of Haley.

Serge Thomann, Deputy Mayor, St Kilda
“I have worked with Renton over the past 5 years and I admire his passion, drive and dedication to skateboarding, community and youth. We could not have built one of the best skate parks in the world without him! We thank you.”
