Renton Millar has lived and breathed skateboarding since 1987.
Turning Pro in 1998 Renton filmed numerous video parts while on the pro team for Globe Shoes and Think Skate boards also winning pro contests in Rome, Copenhagen, Rio De Janeiro as well as The Australian Bowl riding Championships, The XGames in Kuala Lumpur, and ending 2009 as World Cup Vert Champion. Renton is the Australian Skateboarding Federation National Head Skateboarding Coach.
Renton was voted one of the 25 most influential skaters of the past 25 years by Slam magazine in 2012, and was a regular in the top ten in the US X Games and Dew tour.
Renton has a passion for teaching skateboarding and has honed his skills as a resident pro at the worlds’ premier skate camp, Camp Woodward in the USA. Renton has worked closely with Brands, councils and skate parks to deliver events from Skate park Activation, workshops, and grassroots to National Level Skate Contests all over Australia. Renton started the King Of Concrete National series.
Renton was a host on Fueltv for 10 years and is an experienced announcer working on such large-scale events as Bondi Bowlarama, The Australian Open Of Surfing Beachbowl, The Australian Bowlriding Championships and the Nitro World Games in Salt Lake City.
Renton is a director of The Australian and International Skateboard Federations as well as being a being a USA XGames Megaramp and vert judge and a Vans Park Series World Championship judge also. Renton still loves to skate vert, bowls and street and is husband of Chelsie a father of Max and Bonnie.
